Survey Earnings for 2009: Breakdown and Proofs of Payment…
Was tricky getting hold of my proof of survey payments. Actually, I haven’t been able to for some of them as they were received via cheque. Didn’t take a picture in some cases. Since my online bank account only shows transactions going back a couple of months, it’ll be impossible to get a screenshot. However, I think there are enough here to prove that I’ve been paid in the past. (p.s.: this post is a work in progress for now. Will stagger the proofs in. The survey sites below are briefly explained – will expand on those in later posts.)
Pinecone Research – £57.00 ($86.59) (If you can get in, Pinecone’s a really good one. I’ve gotten the most surveys from them.) [PROOF OF PAYMENTS: When I first joined Pinecone, I was paid with vouchers 'til I switched it to Paypal. Don't have pics of the vouchers, but all Paypal payments I rec'd can be viewed here]
Saros Research (focus group) – £35.00 ($51.96) (face-to-face surveys. I hardly qualify for these but when I do, the pay’s pretty handsome. The £35 I got was for about 2 hrs and was quite enjoyable and informative.) [PROOF OF PAYMENT: not available; lost in the depths of bank account land.]
GlobalTestMarket – £32.50 ($49.50) (Though the payout was $50, I rec’d the chq in pounds. $49.50 was the dollar equiv of the £32.50 I rec’d) [PROOF OF PAYMENT: Lawd knows! But here's a link to a screenshot of my GTM account when I reached 1000 points.]
Home of Research – £20.35 ($33.65) (UK only. Minimum payout: £20. Cheque. I like this site but it takes FOREVER to reach payout. They have been making changes recently, so I’ll stick with them for a couple more months.) [PROOF OF PAYMENT]
MyVoice – £20.00 ($28.66) (UK only. Minimum payout: £20. Cheque. One of my favourite sites ‘cos their surveys are usually quite short, the pay’s not bad and the site has a sense of humour. Pays by cheque.) [PROOF OF PAYMENT: unavailable. I thought I took a pic of the chq, but can't find it for now. Will have a proper rummage around.]
Toluna UK – £10.00 ($17.00) (discount voucher) [PROOF OF PAYMENT]
MySurvey UK – £10.00 ($15.58) (Pays via voucher or donation to a charity. Minimum payout: 1000 points – equiv to around £10 I believe. You get points even if you try a survey and don’t qualify.) [PROOF OF PAYMENT: I rec'd a £5 Amazon voucher via email and a £5 high street voucher in the post. Didn't take a pic of the latter, but you can view the Amazon voucher here.]
Crowdology – £8.79 ($14.30) (This is a relatively new survey site. UK only. Pays well for a short amount of your time – e.g. £0.40 for a 2 to 5 min survey. Pays via Paypal. Minimum payout: £4. I’ve been paid twice so far.) [PROOF OF PAYMENTS: 1 / 2]
Wisad – £8.00 ($13.12) (UK only. I get the same survey from this site every month. Usually no longer than 10 mins, It’s more like a check-in survey to see how you’re doing from month to month. Pays via prizedraw in which money and vouchers can be won. I’ve won 4 times in the form of 2 x £1 vouchers each time) [PROOF OF PAYMENTS: 1 / 2]
LightSpeed Panel (UK) – £7.00 ($10.84) (wrote very briefly about this one in my last post. Open to several countries including USA, China and Australia. Didn’t do a whole lot of their surveys last year though I received plenty reminders. That’s gonna change this year as I plan to attempt as many surveys as they send me.) [PROOF OF PAYMENTS]
Ciao Surveys – £6.00 ($9.85) (a lot of the surveys I receive through this site pay a pathetic amount so I don’t bother. I hardly qualify for the ones that pay better. However, I’ve been lucky sometimes. Haven’t visited the site in a good while, so will revisit and see if things have improved). [PROOF OF PAYMENT]
Indiefield – £5.00 ($8.23) (offers a mix of online surveys and face-to face focus groups. I’ve only done one survey. Wasn’t long. Received a £5 voucher in the post for my time) [PROOF OF PAYMENT: no pic available.]
Business School survey – £3.00 ($4.01) (not sure where I found this one so can’t put the link up, but I get very random requests to complete short surveys. Pays via Paypal.) [PROOF OF PAYMENTS: 1 / 2]
A.C.O.P – £2.00 ($2.98) (briefly explained this one in the last post. Rarely get surveys, but enjoyable when I do) [PROOF OF PAYMENT: unavailable. Never took a pic of the chq when I got it.]
OpinionWorld – £1.00 ($1.42) (explained in other post briefly. Mostly prize draws, charitable donations, but pays cash occasionally) [PROOF OF PAYMENT]
TOTAL SURVEY EARNINGS IN 2009: £215.64 ($347.69)

WOW! You really must have been patient and lucky to have gotten so many surveys. Residing in the States or UK where most survey companies are based sure gives you an edge, for qualification, over other survey takers around the world.
It would have been nice if you included how long it took you to reach the payout amount. Did you do the surveys during your past time or where you @ it 8 hours a day.
Hey, you. Thanks for passing by and leaving a comment.
Yes, being in the UK does put me at an advantage. However, there are some survey sites out there that I either can't join or just aren't worth my time due to my location.
Me? Do this full time? I'd be crazy to do that. I definitely do this as an extreeeemely part time thing, not full time.
LMAO! I second that. Making surveys taking fulltime would really be a crazy move. The earnings ain’t so bad for something you when you're bored.
I’d probably link to your blog sometime either through my blog roll or a post.
Keep up the good work and have a lovely evening
The only people more likely to be doing this full time are the owners of the survey sites themselves…and they're probably making a helluva lot more too.
Thanks for the future link. I have a main make-money-online blog – GetPaidtoFart.com – gets more traffic – will put you on my blogroll there.
Take care – you have a good evening too.
Added to my sidebar under THEME MADE POSSIBLE BY and in my blogroll as well(http://www.strictlyonlinebiz.com/blog/blog-roll)
Take care.
Dalu. I've returned the favour on my other blog.
Take care…
