Doing Online Surveys? You Might Need Some Speakers…

Well, it’s something I’ve been noticing on some survey sites of late. For example, I’ve noticed that more LightSpeed Consumer Panel and GlobalTestMarket surveys require you to either watch a video or listen to an audio clip. I can imagine any survey with a video/audio element would make taking them a hell of a lot more entertaining, so it’s something I’m mega open to. However, I don’t have a soundcard or speakers on my computer which is a bit of a bummer. It’s my fault, really, as I’ve been meaning to sort that out for a while, not just to increase my chances of qualifying for more surveys, but to make my general computing experience more enjoyable. The other week, I was screened out of 3 LightSpeed Panel surveys ‘cos I had no sound. (whimper. ear droop.)
As luck would have it, my brother-in-law’s gonna sort it out for me. He’s a computer god. I have plates. He has computers. Anyway, I wanted some advice from him regarding an external soundcard for my desktop and he told me to forget about the soundcard, that he’d replace my computer with a new model! How could I argue with that?
So, yah, once I get that, I’ll be able to hopefully qualify for a lot more surveys. I joined another site months ago that does video-based surveys, so will revisit it once I get my new desktop. Will rummage around for the link and put it up here in case anyone else wants to join it. (20/2/10 – right. found the link. it’s mindtracker.co.uk. I just logged in and there are no surveys at the mo’).
Weekend’s here. Have a good one.

ROFLMAO. I have plates. He has computers. Ain't nothing like food hun?
Apart from the sound speaker stuff you might also want to add that HIGH SPEED internet access is needed cos EDGE and GPRS connections just won't cut it when audio and video streaming is involved in any survey
Hi
I already have broadband. I was born clutching a modem, you see
My brother-in-law's a star. He installed the new computer tonight. Can't wait to test its ears and eyes out!
Have a lovely weekend, you.
