Surveyosity: Six-Month Review…
At the top of the year, my aim was to make £350 with surveys (about £30 a month). I thought it was realistic and doable ‘cos the previous year, I’d made around £215 in total.
Jan-Jun ’10…
I’ve made £129.55 (as of June end) which works out at about £21.50 a month.
Month-by-month breakdown…
Jan – £0
Feb – £11.00 (Pinecone Research – £6.00; social research – £5.00)
Mar – £87.16 (Focus Force – £60.00; MyVoice – £20.00; Crowdology – £4.16; Pinecone – £3.00)
Apr – £12.23 (Pinecone – £6; Crowdology – £4.23; GFk – £2.00)
May – £16.16 (Pinecone – £12.00; Crowdology – £4.16)
Jun – £3.00 (Pinecone)
Total – £129.55
Things were slow for me in January, but as you can see, it picked up the following month. March was a record month thanks to the focus group survey I did (paid £60). And nothing much happened in terms of pay in June.
Survey breakdown…
Focus Force – £60.00
Pinecone Research – £30.00
MyVoice – £20.00
Crowdology – £12.55
Social research – £5.00
Gfk WISAD – £2.00
Total – £129.55
Focus group surveys are a blast, but I find them hard to get. I think I’ve only ever done 2 or 3 of those a year. Wish I could get more. Pinecone Research has been cool; surveys aren’t consistent, but I qualify for all that I receive and get paid fairly fast. Crowdology’s cool too; less consistent than Pinecone, but I tend to qualify for a high percentage of the surveys. MyVoice takes a good while to reach payout, but their surveys are fun and short.
Should I Revise my £350 Target???
Going by what I’ve made up ’til June end, yes, I think I should.
But going by what’s possible, NO, I FRIKKIN SHOULDN’T!
It ain’t over ’til the fat blogger sings, yagetme
The £350 target STAYS!
Here’s to the next 6 months…
