I’ve just joined Opinion Outpost UK (also has a US and Canadian site too).
Rather than join the survey site directly, I decided to join through Cashle.com (a GPT site). Cashle pays you for doing a number of things – mostly completing offers. It’s currently paying to sign up to Opinion Outpost UK, so I joined through there and got paid $0.50 for it (click image below to see).
It was pretty straightforward to join Opinion Outpost. Didn’t feel like more than a few minutes. There aren’t any surveys to fill in at the moment, but there are four profiles there that I completed. Profiles help determine what surveys they send you. All in all, it didn’t take more than 6-8 mins to complete.
TIP: when you complete each member profile, make sure you refresh the screen or else the status shows as incomplete. I’m having a bit of a problem with the General survey though. I’ve filled it in, but it’s still showing as incomplete. Tried again. No luck. The others are OK though.
Minimum payout…
It’s good to know this survey site pays via Paypal, but I’m a bit confused over what the minimum payout actually is. On the Member Rewards page, it’s got “Minimum is 50 Opinion Points or £2.50.”, but in the FAQ, it mentions a minimum of 100 points (£5). For now, I’ll just assume it’s the latter.
Once you request the minimum, it takes 1-4 hours to process so I’m assuming it shows up in your Paypal account after that.
Account Expiry…
If you plan on joining Opinion Outpost UK and you’re not active there for more than 3 months, your account automatically expires. I’m not sure if it’s the same rule for the US/Canada sites.
Anyway, I’ll post an update on how things go. Consider this a review-in-progress.
