It’s been sloooooow going for me in the paid survey world as I haven’t really been concentrating on it. However, I never ever pass up on a Pinecone Research survey when it drops in my inbox! Since I last updated this blog, I’ve received three additional payments from Pinecone (totalling £9.00)
I also received a £5 Paypal payment from Consumer Intelligence. You can read more about C.I. on my previous post here. This is the first survey payment I’ve received from the company via Paypal as they usually pay via cheque.

May’s gotten off to a good start. Hopefully, the trend will continue. We’ll see.

Pinecone Research is one of my favourite survey sites. The surveys don’t come that regularly for me, but I never have to worry about whether I’ll qualify for the ones I get.
Once I’ve complete a survey (which normally doesn’t take more than 10 mins), I usually get paid the following day or the day after that.
A while ago, I had the choice to get paid with a voucher or via Paypal. For me, opting for the latter suited me better.
Below is my most recent Paypal payment from Pinecone:

With 10 months to go, I’m hoping I’ll have more than enough time to hit my £350 target.

The focus group session was lovely, dah-ling! Really enjoyed it. I’m not at liberty to say what company it was about, but it was really interesting. It’s also nice to know companies are interested in what you’ve got to say; I mean, after all, we’re the ones that make money for them!
At the session, there were a couple of trays of quartered sandwiches and drinks (no alcohol, of course!) for us to help ourselves to.
The person who lead it was friendly, professional and down to earth, so before I knew it, the two hours were up. Very painless way to earn some bob.
I’m £55 richer for it. Couldn’t have come at a better time, I’m telling you.
The only slightly negative thing I would say is that I only learnt the session was going to be recorded in the session itself. I don’t recall being told any time before that. I would have preferred being informed in advance (before applying for the opportunity). Maybe I was told and don’t remember. Maybe it was somewhere in the small print. Anyway, I really don’t mind being recorded so it wasn’t much of a problem. In any case, I can completely understand why recording was necessary as there are so many things said by different people over a period of time.
The company I got the opportunity through is known as Focus4People in case you’re interested in registering.
